Tower Grabber Privacy
This notice describes Tower Grabber 3.4.2 and the information used when you choose to use its features.
Your personal Tower Grabber data
Tower records you create — including rung state, dates, notes, photographs and ringing audio — are stored on your device. Backup files are created only when you choose to export them, and you decide where those files are saved or shared.
Photos and microphone
Tower Grabber requests access to photos, camera or microphone only when you use features that need them, such as adding a photograph or making a ringing recording.
Online reference and performance services
Tower Grabber can make internet requests when you choose to refresh online information, including Dove reference data and BellBoard performance information. Those requests may disclose ordinary connection information such as your IP address to the service being contacted. If you use ringer-based BellBoard searching, the search terms you enter are sent as part of that request.
Purchases
STANDARD and PRO purchases are processed by the platform app store. Tower Grabber uses purchase or entitlement information needed to decide which features are available; Tower Grabber does not receive your payment-card details.
Accounts
Tower Grabber does not require a separate Tower Grabber account for its core personal-record features.
Deleting data
You can manage personal records within the app. Deleting the app may remove locally stored Tower Grabber data, so make a backup first if you want to preserve it.
Third-party data and services
Dove and BellBoard are independent services. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when Tower Grabber accesses them. Tower Grabber is an independent application and is not endorsed by the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers, the Dove Team or The Ringing World.
Questions
Privacy or support questions can be sent through Tower Grabber Support.
